My mom is officially done with all chemotherapy and radiation treatments. I am going with her and my sister to Dallas this week to do her all over scan and check up to make sure nothing is left. I can't wait for this to be a distant memory, and I'm pretty sure she is eager for that as well.
I'm still pretty much a homebody, I've decided to accept it and just try to have some socialization time. I spend a lot of my time cooking, making more things from scratch and eating at home more and I've lost about 15lbs which is encouraging, and makes me want to cook more and more things fresh.
I suppose theres not much to say..other than I'm here =) |
